Flight Control Engineer

ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for a Flight Control Engineer to develop control loops, dynamic models, and stabilization logic for our high-altitude drones and atmospheric designs. You will optimize flight handling under challenging atmospheric conditions.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop mathematical flight dynamics models and simulations in MATLAB/Simulink.
- Tune PID and model predictive control (MPC) loops for multirotor drone platforms.
- Implement and test flight control logic in PX4/ArduPilot custom firmware.
- Execute hardware-in-the-loop (HITL) simulations to validate control parameters.
PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Control Systems, or Robotics Engineering.
- Strong background in control theory (classical and modern control system loops).
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink and C++ code customization.
- Experience with flight simulators and software-in-the-loop testing.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience tuning flight controllers for large heavy-lift drone platforms.
- Familiarity with high-altitude aerodynamic models.
