ROLE OVERVIEW
Vayu Galaxy is looking for a Robotics Engineer to design mechatronics and kinematics structures for the Proto Rolling Robot. You will focus on high-velocity stability, suspension physics, and modular payload mechanisms.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design robotic mechanical assemblies, link linkages, and suspension joints using CAD.
- Perform vibration, drop, and thermal simulations on robotic chassis prototypes.
- Select and integrate servo motors, high-torque actuators, and encoder feedback loops.
- Collaborate with software engineers to optimize mechanical response parameters.
PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Solid proficiency in SolidWorks, Autodesk Fusion, or similar CAD software.
- Hands-on experience building physical robotic assemblies.
- Strong understanding of dynamic physics and kinematics calculations.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with carbon-fiber or lightweight metal manufacturing.
- Familiarity with high-velocity rolling robotic systems.
