Simulation & Computational Engineer

ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for a Simulation & Computational Engineer to develop multi-physics models of our conceptual high-altitude urban townships and atmospheric shielding systems. You will optimize structural geometry and thermal management under simulated winds.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build dynamic FEA, CFD, and thermal simulation models for high-altitude systems.
- Optimize structural weight and drag coefficients using computational solvers.
- Post-process simulation results and present structural limits data to design teams.
- Write automated scripts to streamline multi-run simulation workflows.
PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Computational Engineering.
- Expertise in ANSYS, COMSOL Multi-physics, or OpenFOAM.
- Solid understanding of numerical methods, finite element analysis, and fluid dynamics.
- Programming skills in Python or C++ for custom simulation setups.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience simulating high-altitude structural wind shear profiles.
- Familiarity with optimization algorithms.
